Terminal & Connector Insepction

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Signal Circuit Inspection

Check Open or Short in signal circuit
1. IG KEY "OFF".
2. Disconnect HO2S(S1) connector.
3. IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".
4. Measure the voltage between Nernst Voltage terminal of HO2S(S1) harness connector and chassis ground.
Measure the voltage between Vertual Ground Output terminal of HO2S(S1) harness connector and chassis ground.
Measure the voltage between Current Adjust terminal of HO2S(S1) harness connector and chassis ground.
Measure the voltage between Current Pump terminal of HO2S(S1) harness connector and chassis ground.

Specification :
Nernst Voltage : Approx 2.9V
Vertual Ground Output : Approx 2.5V
Current Adjust : Approx 2.8V
Current Pump : Approx 2.8V








5. Is the measured voltage within specification?
