General Description

The TPMS system is the shorten word of Tire Pressure Monitoring System. This system monitors the pressure of the tire and when it drops below a certain pressure, the TPMS ECU makes the warning lamp turn on for notifying the driver. This system consists of TPMS ECU(or TPMS Receiver) and TPMS sensors. The TPMS ECU gets signals of the vehicle speed and then uses thoses for auto-learning and judgment for DTC.

DTC Description

If there is an error in a vehicle speed sensor, the TPMS ECU sets this DTC.
