B1216 Rear Center Right Sensor Fault - Inspection/Repair:_:W/Harness Inspection
Terminal and Connector Inspection
1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found ?
Power Circuit Inspection
Power Inspection
1. IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
2. Measure the power voltage of "Rear Center Right Sensor" at JB(Junction Box).
Specification :Approx. 12V
3. Is the signal output normal ?
Ground Inspection
1. IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
2. Measure voltage between power voltage of "Rear Center Right Sensor" and ground terminal ofof "Rear Center Right Sensorr" at JB(Junction Box).
Specification :Approx. 12V
3. Is the signal output normal ?
LIN communication line Inspection
Inspection of LIN communication line between RPAS-CRH(Right) and BCM[RPAS(Rear Parking Assist System)]
1. Connect GDS and select "Oscilloscope".
2. IG ON, ENG OFF and Shift lever R.
3. Set a stuff or obstacle near the RPAS-CRH. (Rear Center Right Sensor)
4. Measure a waveform between RPAS-CRH(Rear Center Right Sensor) and BCM.[RPAS(Rear Parking Assist System)]
Specification :Refer to "Signal Waveform"
5. Is measured value normal ?
