General Description

WCS(Weight Classification System) ECU checks input voltage when "IGN ON" to make WCS system work properly.
If input voltage is out of normal range, there can be malfunction in system operation. In this case, Check battery and charging system.
WCS send each passenger seat status(empty, child, adult) to ACU.
If B1490 is detected at ACU, should be checked Diagnostic Codes at WCS.

DTC Description

The WCS ECU sets DTC B1101 and turns Airbag warning light on if voltage above threshold value is detected.
