U1001 High Speed CAN Communication Bus (H-CAN) - General Information
Component Location
General Description
The controllers are mounted on the vehicle communicates others by CAN(H-CAN, C-CAN) communication way to share information and control their logic. the C-CAN communication is connected with two wires phyiscally to send information.
In order to successfully perform CAN communication, BMS-ECU and PCM are equipped with an internal 120Ohms termination resistor. BMS ECU sets the DTC related to CAN Communication when the CAN communication does not fail by any cause.
Field action when High Voltage Battery discharges
DTC Description
BMS ECU sets DTC U1001 when H-CAN communication error occurs among controllersAlthough it occurs, the service lamp is not turned on. If it is recovery to a normal state, the current DTC will delete after lasting 2 terms driving cylcle(IG ON /OFF), and thengenerate a historic DTC( H character is displayed at the end of the DTC code).
At the same time the service lamp turns off, the scantool could delete the historic DTC.
