General Description

The HCU uses the Hybrid Starter Generator(HSG) to start the engine and to charge the high voltage battery especially when SOC(State of Charge) is low. Because the HSG is belt driven, the belt must be in good condition.

DTC Description

The HCU sets DTC P1A77 when HSG belt slippage is detected.
