Terminal & Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Control Circuit Inspection

Open Circuit Inspection
1. IG KEY "OFF".
2. Disconnect "5pin of OPU" & "3pin of EOP" connector.
3. Measure resistance between "U pin of 5pin connector of OPU" & " U pin of 3pin connector of EOP".
4. Measure resistance between "V pin of 5pin connector of OPU" & " V pin of 3pin connector of EOP".
5. Measure resistance between "W pin of 5pin connector of OPU" & " W pin of 3pin connector of EOP".

Specification :Approx. 0 Ohms








6. Is the measured resistance within specifications?





Short Circuit Inspection
1. Power circuit short inspection.
2. Disconnect "connector of EOP side of Oil Pump Unit connector.
3. Measure a resistance between "U,V,W phase oil pump unit and Battery power.

Specification :Infinite








4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?





Chassis Ground Short Inspection
1. Disconnect "Oil Pump Unit connector and PCM/TCM connector.
2. Measure a resistance between "U,V,W phase oil pump unit and chassis ground.

Specification :Infinite








3. Is the measured resistance within specifications?
