Terminal & Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Control Circuit Inspection

Open Circuit inspection
1. Disconnect OPU side 18pin connector and 5pin connector of EOP.
2. Measure resistance between signal pin of hall sensor connector and signal pin of hall sensor of EOP.

Specification :Approx. 0 Ohms








3. Is the measured resistance within specifications?





Short Circuit Inspection
1. Power circuit short inspection.
2. Disconnect "5pin connector of EOP side and 18pin connector of Oil Pump Unit.
3. Measure a resistance between "disconnected connector and Battery power.

Specification :Infinite








4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?





Chassis Ground Short Inspection
1. Chassis circuit short inspection.
2. Disconnect "5pin connector of EOP side and 18pin connector of Oil Pump Unit.
3. Measure a resistance between "disconnected connector and chassis ground.

Specification :Infinite








4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?
