General Description

The Motor Control Unit (MCU) supplies AC voltage to both the Drive Motor and the Hybrid Starter Generator (HSG). The Drive Motor provides output torque to the drivetrain and the HSG starts the gasoline engine. The Drive Motor Temperature Sensor is located in the Drive Motor. The MCU alters Drive Motor torque pending Drive Motor temperature.

DTC Description

Due to abnormal fault of the motor cooling system, IF the temperature of driven motor is higher than the specific value, there is set the P0C31 DTC In the MCU.
