P0C17 Drive Motor \'A\' Position Sensor Not Learned - Scantool Diagnostics
Monitor DTC Status
1. Ignition ON (SSB LED "BLUE") & Vehicle "STOP".
2. Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
3. Click "DTC Status" on the menu bar to view DTC information.
4. Confirm that the "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in Freeze Frame Data or Enable Conditions.
5. Read the "DTC Status" parameter.
6. Is parameter displayed "Present fault"?
Monitor Scantool Data
1. Ignition ON/Hybrid Ready (Cluster Indicator "READY" On) Vehicle Parked.
2. Connect GDS and select "Data Analysis" mode.
3. Selet "Currnet Data"mode and monitor "Drive Motor Resolver Offset" parameter.
Fig.1-1) If the Drive Motor Resolver Mal Counter value is over 1, it means Resolver has a fault.
Fig.1-2) If the Drive Motor Resolver CAL Command value is ON, It needs to initiate Resolver.
Fig.1-3) Check that Drive Motor Resolver Offset value is in 2.28 ± 0.18 el range.
4. Ignition ON, EV OFF.
5. Connect GDS and select "Vehicle SW Management" mode.
6. Selet "Drive Motor/HSG Resolver Calibration" parameter.
** If the Drive Motor/HSG Resolver Calibration condition is not satisfied, Initialization will not be completed.
Therefore, check the condition is satisfied.
7. Perform initialization of the Drive Motor/HSG Resolver Calibration.
8. After completing initialization, check that the "Drive Motor Resolver CAL Command" is off.

9. Are the "Drive Motor Resolver CAL Command" value off, and the "Drive Motor Resolver Offset" value in the 2.28 ± 0.18 el range ?
