P0AA6 Hybrid Battery Voltage System Isolation Fault - General Information
Component Location
General Description
To prevent human electrical shock, the High Voltage Battery has been insulated from the body of vehicle.
The Body Managing System (BMS) ECU self-checks the degree of insulation. If the degree of insulation is less than a constant value, it could cause the risk of electric shock.
Field action when High Voltage Battery discharges
DTC Description
The BMS ECU sets P0AA6 when the insulation value between the high voltage line and the body gets under 300Ohms.
