General Description

The Motor Control Unit (MCU) supplies AC voltage to both the Drive Motor and the Hybrid Starter Generator (HSG). The Drive Motor provides output torque to the drivetrain and the HSG starts the gasoline engine.The Motor Control Unit (MCU) supplies AC voltage to both the Drive Motor and the Hybrid Starter Generator (HSG). The Drive Motor provides output torque to the drivetrain and the HSG starts the gasoline engine.** NOTE: When at EV Ready status the HSG is operational and may begin turning at any time. Stay clear of the drive belt during this time.

DTC Description

Due to abnormal fault of cooling system for Generator(HSG) and Inverter(MCU, GCU), If the temperature of sensors is higher than the specific value, there is set the P0A93 DTC in the MCU.
