Terminal and Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminal condition. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?





Check for open in harness
1. Ignition OFF
2. Disconnect safety plug from the main battery (Wait for 5 minutes after OFF).
3. Disconnect HSG Motor Cable and MCU main harness connector.
4. Measure resistance between Cable terminal of HSG Motor Cable harness connector and Cable terminal of MCU harness connector.

Specification :below 1Ohms




5. Is the measured resistance within specifications?





Check for short in harness
1. Ignition OFF
2. Disconnect safety plug from the main battery (Wait for 5 minutes after OFF).
3. Disconnect HSG Motor Cable and MCU main harness connector.
4. Measure resistance between Cable terminal of HSG Motor Cable harness connector and Cable terminal of MCU harness connector.

Specification :Infinity(or upper 10MOhms)




5. Is the measured resistance within specifications?
