P0A42 Drive Motor \'A\' Position Sensor Circuit High - Scantool Diagnostics

Monitor DTC Status

1. Ignition ON (SSB LED "BLUE") & Vehicle "STOP".
2. Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
3. Click "DTC Status" on the menu bar to view DTC information.
4. Confirm that the "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in Freeze Frame Data or Enable Conditions.
5. Read the "DTC Status" parameter.

6. Is parameter displayed "Present fault"?






Monitor Scantool Data

1. Ignition ON/Hybrid Ready (Cluster Indicator "READY" On) Vehicle Parked.
2. Connect GDS and select "Data Analysis" mode.
3. Selet "Currnet Data"mode and monitor "Drive Motor Resolver Mal Counter" parameter.

Specification :Nomal : 0, Abnormal : 1 - 132. or over 132.




Fig.1) It is a Drive Motor Resolver Fault if the Drive Motor Resolver Mal Counter reaches 132 times.
