Component Inspection

Output speed sensor waveform Inspection
1. Connect "A/T solenoid valve" connector and Scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
2. Engine ON and operate Output speed sensor.
3. Measure waveform between signal of Output speed sensor harness and chassis ground.

Specification :See specific waveform








4. Is the measured waveform within specifications?





PCM/TCM Inspection
1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
2. Disconnect "ATM solenoid valve connector.
3. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC) and select Simulation mode.
4. Output specific frequency to signal of Input speed sensor by simulation mode.








Fig 1) OUTPUT 150Hz -> 190rpm
Fig 2) OUTPUT 250Hz -> 316rpm
** The values are subject to change according to vehicle model or conditions.
5. Is measured Output speed sensor value changed by input frequency?
