Component Inspection

Input speed sensor waveform Inspection
1. Connect "A/T solenoid valve"connector and Scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
2. Engine ON and operate Input speed sensor.
3. Measure waveform between signal of Input speed sensor harness and chassis ground.

Specification :See specific waveform








4. Is the measured waveform within specifications?





PCM/TCM Inspection
1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
2. Disconnect ATM solenoid valve connector.
3. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC) and select Simulation mode.
4. Input specific frequency to signal of Input speed sensor by simulation mode.

Fig 2) INPUT 250Hz -> 413rpm

5. Is measured Input speed sensor value changed by input frequency?
