P0455 Evaporative Emission System-Leak detected(Large leak) - General Information

General Description

The evaporative emission control system is for preventing the leakage of HC from fuel tank. (HC can cause photochemical smog.)
The evaporative gas is gathered in a canister and sent to engine through PCSV.
NVLD Sensor module consists of NVLD pressure switch and temperature sensor.

DTC Description

P0455 is set when there is large leakage in the Evaporative Gas Control System.
(PCM monitors the state of negative pressure by NVLD pressure switch signal.)
