C1614 CAN time-out HCU - General Information

General Description

HECU sends torque reduction signal to HCU while ESC control. HCU helps vehicle stability control by sending torque reduction signal to engine ECU and MCU, and ordering to maintain current gear position to TCM.

DTC Description

The HECU checks the CAN communcation lines for the normal ESC control, and sets this code if an HCU message is not received within 500ms.
