General Description

The TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) monitors tire pressure. A warning lamp is illuminated when any tire drops below a certain pressure. The TPMS consists of a TPMS module and the TPMS wheel sensors. The TPMS wheel sensors are installed in the wheel at the valve stem. Wheel sensors measure the air pressure and temperature of the tire, and transmits this information to the module by RF signal.

DTC Description

This DTC indicates that the WE Sensor has detected that it has an internal fault (measurement diagnosis or hardware diagnosis status). The most likely cause is sensor failure.
