General Description

The steering angle sensor has a function to sense a steering angle and a velocity of a steering wheel.
The procedure is as follows : A drive turns a steering wheel -> Main/Sub-gear turns -> Rotation angle senses -> A steering angle is calculated. The EPS(MDPS=Motor Driving Power Steering ) CM uses signals of steering angle sensor and controls for its restoring and damping control.

DTC Description

EPS(MDPS=Motor Driving Power Steering) CM sets this code if ASP(Absolute Steering Position) zero setting is not done when EPS CM losses steering angle signal due to EPS alinment replace etc.
