Repair Procedures

Removal and Installation

1. Disconnect the battery terminals.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly and the intercooler inlet/outlet hoses.
3. Remove the battery and battery tray.
4. Remove the under covers.
5. Remove the intercooler upper mounting bracket (A).

Tightening torque
3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb-ft)




6. Remove the intercooler (A) after removing the air guide (B)

Tightening torque
Air guide bolts:
4.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.5 - 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.8 lb-ft)




7. Installation is reverse order of removal.
