Terminal and Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Signal Circuit Inspection

Open Check
1. IG OFF.
2. Disconnect the clutch switch and HECU connector.
3. Measure resistance of clutch signal terminal between the clutch switch and HECU harness connector.
4. Measure resistance between ground terminal of clutch switch harness connector and chassis ground.

Specification :Below 1Ohms




5. Is the measured value within specifications?





Short Check
1. IG OFF.
2. Disconnect the clutch switch and HECU connector.
3. Measure resistance between clutch signal terminal of the clutch switch harness connector and chassis ground.

Specification :Below 1Ohms




4. Is the measured value within specifications?
