Fuel Filler Door Replacement

CAUTION:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Open the fuel filler door.
2. After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the fuel filler door (A).




3. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Make sure the fuel filler door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.

Fuel Filler Door Cable Replacement

CAUTION:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the following items :
A. Front seat assembly

B. Rear seat assembly

C. Floor Console

D. Front door scuff trim & Rear door scuff trim

E. Cowl side trim

F. Center pillar lower trim

G. Rear pillar trim

H. Package tray trim

I. Transverse trim

J. Luggage side trim

2. Remove the floor carpet.
3. Remove the mounting fuel filler door cable clips (A).
4. Loosen the fuel filler door & trunk lid handle mounting bolt (B).
5. Separate the fuel filler door cable by slightly pulling the fuel filler door & trunk lid handle (C).




6. Carefully pull out the fuel filler door cable (A) (approximately 78 in. long) outside of the trunk by pushing in the lock pins located inside the trunk.




7. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Make sure the fuel filler door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.

G. Rear wheel housing trim

H. Covering shelf side trim

I. Rear transverse trim

J. Luggage side trim

K. Rear pillar trim

2. Remove the floor carpet.
3. Remove the mounting fuel filler door cable clips (A).
4. Loosen the fuel filler door & trunk lid handle mounting bolt (B).
5. Separate the fuel filler door cable by slightly pulling the fuel filler door & trunk lid handle (C).




6. Carefully pull out the fuel filler door cable (A) (approximately 78 in. long) outside of the trunk by pushing in the lock pins located inside the trunk.




7. Installation is the reverse of removal.
