B1735 Anchor Pretensioner front-Passenger resistance too Low - General Information
General Description
Passenger Anchor Pretensioner operates as well as Belt Pretensioner at the same time If it gets into its deploy condition after a collision. It is located at near anchor on Passenger seat and it is an equipment to make up for the existing short stroke. Passenger Anchor Pretensioner is supported by two cable and it is an auxiliary equipment to prevent a Passenger from breaking away doubly as seat belt is being pulled toward achor side after a collision.
CAUTION:
Never measure resistance of Anchor Pretensioner front-Passenger directly, Current of measuring device may cause unexpected airbag depoy.
DTC Description
The SRSCM sets DTC B1735 if the measured resistance value of Anchor Pretensioner front-Passenger circuit is less than the threshold value.
*In this case, SRSCM checks if there's any fault in circuit by sending current for a while.
