Repair Procedures





Replacement

Cluster Fascia Replacement

NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Insert the Air Vent Remover (09840-1M100) into the air vent hole.




2. Air vent remover(09840-1M100(A)) should be aligned and hung at the end of air vent.





CAUTION:
- To prevent the damage of air vent, air vent remover should be aligned and hung at the end of air vent.

3. Remove the side air vent (B) with pulling the Air Vent Remover (A).




4. Set the air vent hole to the center with adjusting the knob.
5. Open the air vent with adjusting the knob.
6. Insert the Air Vent Remover (09840-1M100) into the air vent hole.




7. Air vent remover (09840-1M100(A)) should be aligned and hung at the end of air vent.




8. Remove the center air vent (B) with pulling the Air Vent Remover (A).




9. Remove the center fascia panel (A).




10. After removing the screws, remove the audio assembly (A).




11. Tilt the steering column down.
12. After removing the screws, remove the upper shroud cover (A).
13. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the cluster fascia panel (B).
14. Disconnect the connector (C).




15. After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the cluster fascia (A).




16. Disconnect the connector (A).




17. Installation is the reverse the removal.

NOTE:
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.

Center Fascia Panel Replacement

NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Set the air vent hole to the center with adjusting the knob.
2. Open the air vent with adjusting the knob.
3. Insert the Air Vent Remover (09840-1M100) into the air vent hole.




4. Air vent remover (09840-1M100(A)) should be aligned and hung at the end of air vent.





CAUTION:
- To prevent the damage of air vent, air vent remover should be aligned and hung at the end of air vent.

5. Remove the center air vent (B) with pulling the Air Vent Remover (A).




6. Remove the center fascia panel (A).




7. Disconnect the connector (A).




8. Disconnect the heater control unit connector (A).




9. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Lower Panel Replacement
1. Remove the crash pad side cover (A).




2. After loosening the crash pad lower panel mounting screws, then remove the lower panel (A).




3. Disconnect the connector (A) and (B).




4. Disconnect the connector (A).




5. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Audio Assembly Replacement
1. Remove the center fascia panel.
2. After loosening the audio assembly mounting screws, then remove the audio assembly (A).




3. Disconnect the connectors (A).




4. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.

Glove Box Replacement
1. Crash pad side cover (A).




2. Disconnect the damper (B) from the glove box (A).
3. Disconnect the damper (C).




4. Disconnect the pin (A), then remove the glove box (B).




5. After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the glove box housing (A).




6. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Crash Pad Replacement

NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the following items :
A. Front seat
B. Cluster fascia panel, cluster
C. Audio assembly
D. Glove box
E. Crash pad side cover
F. Front pillar trim
2. Insert the air vent remover (09840-1M100) into the air vent hole.




3. Air vent remover (09840-1M100 (A)) should be aligned and hung at the end of air vent.





CAUTION:
- To prevent the damage of air vent, air vent remover should be aligned and hung at the end of air vent.

4. Remove the side air vent (B) with pulling the air vent remover (A).




5. Disconnect the passenger`s air bag connector (A). Loosen the bolts (B).




6. Remove the air bag module cover (A).




7. Disconnect the connector (A).




8. Remove the photo sensor (A).




9. After loosening the mounting bolts and nuts, remove the crash pad (A).




10. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Make sure the crash pad fits onto the guide pins correctly.
- Before tightening the bolts, make sure the crash pad wire harnesses are not pinched.
- Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly, and the antenna lead is connected properly.
- Enter the anti- theft code for the radio, then enter the customer`s radio station presets.
