Check "OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR"
1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect the "OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR" connector.
3. Measure the resistance between "Signal" terminals and "Ground" of the "OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR".
Specification : Refer to " Reference data"
[Reference data]
4. Is resistance within specifications?
Check PCM
1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
2. Connect "TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR" connector.
3. Install scantool and select a SIMU-SCAN,
4. Simulate voltage (0->5 V) to "TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR" signal circuit.
Fig 1) INPUT 1.00 V -> 78 °C (172 °F)
Fig 2) INPUT 2.00 V -> 46 °C (114 °F)
** The values are subject to change according to vehicle model or conditions.
5. Is OIL TEMP. SENSOR signal value changed according to simulation voltage?
