Component Inspection

Check CAN communication waveform generation
1. IG "OFF" and disconnect CAN communication modules. (ECM, ABS (ESP), SRS control module, TRIP computer, Tire pressure monitoring module, Yaw rate sensor)
2. Connect 2 channel scope to DLC CAN HIGH terminal and CAN LOW terminal.
3. IG KEY "ON" after connecting only ECM to CAN BUS. (IG KEY "ON" after connecting only "the Control Module(s) to be checked" to CAN BUS.)

Specification : At Ignition "ON", the waveform is same as the one of "Signal Waveform & Data".

4. Is the measured resistance within specification?
