General Description

VSM (vehicle safety management) receives a steering torque amount that is calculated by VDC ECU and VSM output signal. Then, check for VSM output signal along with a steering torque piling method to pile up with the amount VSM suggests.

DTC Description

The EPS (MDPS=Motor Driving Power Steering) UNIT sets DTC C1692 if it doesn't receive VSM (vehicle safety management) signals from ABS (ESP) ECM.
