C1261 Steering Angle Sensor Not Calibrated

Steering Angle Sensor Calibration (EPS not equipped vehicle)
1. Line up wheels like figure 1.
(1) Perform the wheel alignment.
(2) Set the steering wheel so that the wheels point straight ahead.
(3) Go ahead and Go back the vehicle 2 - 3 times without holding steering wheel.
2. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
3. Perform steering angle sensor calibration. (Figure 2)
4. Disconnect GDS.
5. Check the condition of SAS zero point adjustment by driving the vehicle to right-turn and left-turn at least one time.








6. Is "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" completed normally?





Steering Angle Sensor Calibration (EPS equipped vehicle)
1. Line up wheels like figure 1.
(1) Perform the wheel alignment.
(2) Set the steering wheel so that the wheels point straight ahead.
(3) Go ahead and Go back the vehicle 2 - 3 times without holding steering wheel.
2. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
3. Go in Elec. Power Steering system.
4. Perform ASP calibration. (figure 3).
5. Check the condition of "SAS 0 SET" by operating the vehicle (turn right and left at least 1 time)




6. Is "ASP Calibration" completed normally?
