Repair Procedures
Removal
WARNING:
This hybrid system uses a DC 270V voltage system. Be sure to follow safety instructions below. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in serious injury or electrocution .
1. Shut off the High Voltage circuit .
2. Remove the trunk trim .
3. Remove the inverter power cables (A) by unscrewing the tightening nuts.
4. Disconnect the positive cable (A) from the auxiliary battery.
5. Remove the air cleaner assembly and the duct .
6. Disconnect the power cable (A) from the HPCU.
(1) Pull the lever (B) in the direction of the arrow with the hook (C) pressed.
(2) Press the lever (D), and then pull the power cable connector.
7. Remove the positive cable (A) from the engine room relay box.
8. Remove the under cover.
9. Remove the installation nuts, then remove the power cable from the vehicle.
NOTE:
To remove the nuts (A, B) more easily, unscrew the fuel tank band installation nuts of RH side [Not LH] and then lower it partially (At this time, the fuel tank must be supported with a jack).
Installation

1. Installation is reverse of removal.
Inverter power cable terminal tightening nut:
7.8 - 11.8N.m (0.8 - 1.2kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7lb-ft)
Fuel tank band installation nut:
39.2 - 54.0N.m (4.0 - 5.5kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8lb-ft)
