General Description

In the case of selecting a turbine housing with a small area for the purpose of supplementing the lack of torque, the gasoline engine may create knocking in high speed. This device secures a solution to prevent this type of problem, where the exhaust gas is by passed at the turbine entrance that restraints the turbine revolution and provides the most suitable boost pressure.

DTC Description

Even though EWG is open entirely, natural boost charging is generated by inertia of exhaust gas. ECU learns natural-charged PUT (2ND T-MAP), and ECU shows P0244 when this adaption value is out of range.
