Power Circuit Inspection

1. Check for an open or short circuit in the WCS Power Circuit.
(1) Disconnect WCS connector from wiring harness.
(2) Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
(3) Measure voltage between terminal "supply voltage" and chassis ground.

Specification : Battery Voltage

(4) Is the measured voltage within specifications?

CAN communication Line Inspection

1. Connect SRSCM and Weight Classification System connector.
2. IG KEY ON.
3. Measure signal waveform between C-CAN HIGH terminal and C-CAN LOW terminal of SRSCM connector.

Specification : Refer to Signal waveform and Data

4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

WCS Reset

1. Ignition "OFF", connect scantool.
2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF", select Weight Classification System and select "WCS Reset" mode.
3. You will see comments and current weight measured.
4. Make sure the measure weight is caused by occupant or tools or interference.
