Repair Procedures

Removal

1. Disconnect the rear heated oxygen sensor connector (A).
2. Remove the front muffler (B).

Tightening torque
39.8 - 58.8Nm (4.0 - 6.0kgf.m, 28.9 - 43.4lb-ft)





3. Disconnect the front heated oxygen sensor connector (A).




4. Remove the front heated oxygen sensor (B) using the special tool (A) (09392-2H100).




5. Remove the heat protector (A).

Tightening torque
16.7 - 21.5Nm (1.7 - 2.2kgf.m, 12.3 - 15.9lb-ft)





6. Remove the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter assembly(A).

Tightening torque
42.1 - 53.9Nm (4.3 - 5.5kgf.m, 31.1 - 39.7lb-ft)





7. To install, reverse the removal procedure with new gasket.
