Trunk / Liftgate Latch Release Cable: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT

TRUNK LID, FUEL FILL DOOR RELEAS CABLE REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the following items.
A. Front seat.
B. Rear seat.
C. Front, rear door scuff trim.
D. Center lower pillar trim.
E. Luggage side trim.
F. Fuel fill door releas handle.
2. Disconnect the fuel filler door release cable from the release handle.
3. Remove the release cable(A) from the clip, and disconnect the fuel filler door catch(B), then remove the fuel filler door cable from the vehicle.
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Make sure the fuel fill door opens properly and locks securely.
