Some Forte/Forte Koup vehicles manufactured from July 16th to August 20th, 2009 may experience concerns of inoperative A/C blower, high/low cooling fans or engine starter motor. The concern may be caused by poor contacts inside the four (4) relays located in the engine compartment junction box as shown. It is recommended that any vehicle within this production range be repaired prior to retail sale to a customer. Additionally, any vehicle coming in for service should be checked and if necessary repaired before it's returned to the customer.

Relay Replacement Procedure:





1. Raise the hood and remove the cover for the engine compartment junction box.





2. Using SST 09912 - 38000 remove the four (4) existing relays shown on page one of this TSB by pulling straight up/out.





3. Reinstall the new relays, kit part number 952241M000QQK.

Install the new relays by hand making certain they are fully seated in place.





4. Reinstall the engine compartment junction box cover.

Verify that the A/C blower, high/low cooling fans and engine starter motor operate normally.
