Repair Procedures
REMOVAL
1. Drain the power steering fluid by disconnecting return hose (A).
2. Disconnect the pressure tube (A) and suction tube (B) from the power steering oil pump.
Tightening torque Nm (kgf.m, lb-ft):
55 - 65 (5.5 - 6.5, 40 - 47)

3. Disconnect the pressure tube (A) and return tube (B) from the valve body housing.
Tightening torque Nm (kgf.m, lb-ft):
12 - 18 (1.2 - 1.8, 9 - 13)
4. Loosen the pressure tube bracket bolt (A).

5. Remove the pressure and return tube bracket bolts (A).
6. Remove the return tube bracket bolts (A, B).
7. Remove the under cover, then loosen the cooler tube bracket bolts (A).
8. Remove the pressure and return tube.
INSTALLATION
1. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
Be sure to connect between a tube and a hose as shown in the illustration.
CAUTION:
The pressure tube does not twist and come in contact with other components.
2. Add the power steering oil.
3. After installation, bleed the power steering system.
