ECO driving system
This system is designed to encourage eco-driving by providing real-time feedback to the driver.
The ECO indicator light assists you to drive in the most economical way.
The green indicator comes on when you drive with high fuel efficiency.
The fuel efficiency depends on driver's driving habit and road condition.
The system stops operation when the transaxle is in the P,R,N position or sports mode, or instantaneous fuel consumption mode is selected.
Operation
1. CRUISE Mode
When Cruise Control is active (ACC ACT = 1), Green lamp is ON in case of follow :
A. In case that current gear is current possible max gear on shift pattern.
B. In case that D/C is ON.
2. Condition of banned Green lamp ON
RPM is over 3000 and then Green lamp is banned. In condition of banned Green lamp, RPM is less than 2850 and than the condition is released.
3. Not working mode
In follow conditions, ECO driving system is not working, and indicator is OFF. Not working mode is prior to all mode except for Error Mode.
A. The position of A/T is not 'D'.
B. Vehicle speed is '0' or over 120kph.
C. Temperature of A/T oil is lower than 25°C or higher than 120°C.
4. Error Mode
Last received CAN signal value is used as the input data of ECO Guide logic having 200ms refresh cycle. When NO CAN signal is received over 200ms, all Indicators are off for the one cycle.
And when input signal value is out of valid range, all indicators are off for the one cycle.
