Component Inspection





Component Inspection

Check "TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR"
1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect the "TRANSAXLE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR" connector.
3. Measure the resistance between "Signal" terminals and "Ground" of the "TRANSAXLE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR".

Specification : Refer to "Reference data"

4. Is resistance within specifications?





Check TCM
1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
2. Connect "TRANSAXLE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR" connector.
3. Install scantool and select a SIMU-SCAN,
4. Simulate voltage (0 -> 5V) to "TRANSMISSION OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR" signal circuit.








Fig 1) INPUT 1.00V -> 163 °F
Fig 2) INPUT 2.00V -> 113 °F
** The values are subject to change according to vehicle model or conditions.
5. Is OIL TEMP. SENSOR signal value changed according to simulation voltage?
