Component Inspection

1. Turn ON 'TPMS exciter'.
2. Select "TIRE SNSR CONFIG (EXCITER)" mode.
3. Execute "SET SENSOR STATUS" of Sensor 3.
4. Monitor the parameter of Sensor 3 on the 'TPMS exciter'.
A. Specification : 'SENSOR OPTION' is 'LOW'.




5. Is parameter within specifications?
YES
1) Substitute with a known-good TPMS receiver module and check for proper operation.
2) If the problem is corrected, replace TPMS receiver module and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
1) Replace Sensor 3 if necessary and register sensor ID with 'TPMS exciter'.
2) Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
