Output Speed Sensor

Removal

1. Remove the battery terminal.
2. Remove the battery and battery tray.
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly. (see the automatic transaxle- Removal/ installation procedures)
4. Remove the output shaft speed sensor connector.
5. Remove the output shaft speed sensor(A).






Installation

1. Install the new O-ring to the output shaft speed sensor.
2. Install the output shaft speed sensor.

TORQUE:
10 - 12Nm(1.0 - 1.2kgf.m, 7 - 8lb-ft)



CAUTION:
While installing the output shaft speed sensor, do not allow dust or other foreign particles to enter the transaxle.

3. Check the connector for dust, dirt, or oil, then connect the connector securely.
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
