BCM Inspection

Check Input Signal
1. Ignition "ON" and engine "OFF"
2. Connect scantool and select INPUT/OUTPUT MONITORING.
3. Monitor "TURN SIGNAL LAMP SW LH (RH)" parameter on the scantool.
A. Specification : "ON" when TURN SIGNAL LAMP is switched on.




4. Are parameters displayed within specifications?
YES
1) Substitute with a known-good BCM and check proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace BCM and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
1) Check for LIN communication line and a combination switch.
Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair"
