Repair Procedures








REMOVAL

1. Remove the rear wheel & tire.

CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel & tire.

2. Remove the rear upper arm (C) by loosening the mounting bolts & nut (A, B).






INSTALLATION

1. Install the rear upper arm (C) between the rear cross member and the carrier assembly and then tighten the mounting bolts and nut (A, B).

Tightening torque Nm (kgf.m, lb-ft)
110 - 130 (11.0 - 13.0, 80 - 94)

CAUTION:
Install the rear upper arm so that the letter "R" can face the rear of vehicle.




2. Install the rear wheel & tire.

Tightening torque Nm (kgf.m, lb-ft):
90 - 110 (9.0 - 11.0, 65 - 80)

CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when installing the rear wheel& tire.
