Heated Glass Element: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION

The windshield deicer system prevents the windshield wipers from freezing. A heater grid is located ion the lower portion of the windshield. The BCM operates the deicer relay after receiving a signal from the deicer switch. The deicer is only active when the engine is running, and operates on a 20-minute timer cycle.
