Repair Procedures

Removal

1. Remove the rear wheel & tire.
2. Remove the bolt (A) holding carrier to rear assist arm.
3. Remove the cam bolt (B) and assist arm by loosening the nut.






INSTALLATION

1. Install the rear assist arm and cab bolt (B) to the cross member and tighten the nut.

Tightening torque Nm (kgf.m, lb-ft):
100 - 120 (10.0 - 120, 72 - 87)


2. Connect the rear assist arm with the carrier and tighten the bolt (A) and nut.

Tightening torque Nm (kgf.m, lb-ft):
140 - 160 (14.0 - 16.0, 101 - 116)






3. Install the rear wheel & tire.

Tightening torque Nm (kgf.m, lb-ft):
90 - 110 (9.0 - 11.0, 65 - 80)
