General Description
Safety power window ECU Software reads the following inputs.
DTC Description
The safety power window ECU sets DTC R/DRV SAFETY P/WDW INPUT VOLT.HIGH if the ECU detects high input battery voltage. (The state of operation : prohibit window movement)

Terminal and Connector Inspection
1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?
YES - Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure
NO - Go to "Power Circuit Inspection" procedure
Power Supply Circuit Inspection
1. Ignition "ON" and Engine "OFF"
2. Disconnect rear safety power window ECU L/H connector.
3. Measure voltage between "5" of the rear safety power window ECU L/H harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. B+
4. Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES - Substitute with a known-good rear safety power window ECU L/H and check proper condition. If the problem is corrected, replace rear safety power window ECU L/H and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO - Check the alternator. Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
Verification of Vehicle Repair
After a repair, it is essential to verify that the fault has been corrected.
1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF"
2. Connect scantool and clear DTC.
3. Are any DTCs present?
YES - Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure.
NO - System is performing to specification at this time.
