Component Inspection





Component Inspection

[Check status of all TPM sensor]
1. Turn ON 'TPMS exciter'.
2. Select "TIRE SENSOR CONFIG (EXCITER)" mode.
3. Execute "SET SENSOR STATUS" of each wheel.




4. Are status of all sensors "normal" ?
YES
1) Check TPMS receiver RF shielding.
2) If it is OK, go to "Check TPMS receiver" as follows.
3) Repair if necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
1) Change status of all TPMS sensors into "normal" status with 'TPMS exciter'.
2) Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

1. Connect 'TPMS exciter' or scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Clear DTC.
3. IG OFF & IG ON. Wait 4 minutes.
4. Execute "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode.
5. Is 'C1660' present ?
YES
1) Substitute with a known-good TPMS Receiver module and check for proper operation.
2) If the problem is corrected, replace TPMS Receiver module and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
1) System is OK.
