Power Door Lock Relay: Testing and Inspection
POWER DOOR LOCK RELAYINSPECTION
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the junction box.
3. Check for continuity between the terminals.
DOOR LOCK
1. There should be continuity between the No.13 in the I/P-E and No.12 terminals in the I/P-D when power and ground are connected to the No.13 terminal in the I/P-H and No.15 terminal in the I/P-D.
2. There should be no continuity between the No.13 terminal in the I/P-E and No.12 terminal in the I/P-D when power is disconnected.
DOOR UNLOCK
1. There should be continuity between the No.13 terminal in the I/P-H and No.8 terminal in the I/P-E when power and ground are connected to the No.13 terminal in the I/P-E and No.2 terminal in the I/P-E.
2. There should be no continuity between the No.13 terminal in the I/P-E and No.2 terminal in the I/P-E when power is disconnected.
