Power Seat Motor: Testing and Inspection

POWER SEAT MOTOR

INSPECTION

POWER LUMBAR SUPPORT




1. Disconnect the motor connector after removing the seat.
2. When the battery connected directly to the motor terminals, check the motors run smoothly.
3. Reverse the connections and check that the motor turns in reverse.




4. If there is an abnormality, replace the motors.

POWER LUMBAR SUPPORT SWITCH







1. Operate the power seat switch and check for continuity between terminals.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
