Output Speed Sensor

OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR

REMOVAL

1. Remove the battery terminal.
2. Remove the battery and battery tray.
3. Remove the air duct.
4. Remove the air cleaner assembly. (Refer to the automatic transaxle - Removal/installation procedures)
5. Remove the output shaft speed sensor connector (A).





6. Remove the output shaft speed sensor (A).





INSTALLATION

1. Install the new O-ring to the output shaft speed sensor.
2. Remove the output shaft speed sensor.

TORQUE: 10 - 12 Nm (100 - 120 kgf.cm, 7 - 8 lb-ft)

CAUTION: While Installing the output shaft speed sensor, do not allow dust or other foreign particles to enter the transaxle.

3. Check the connector for dust, dirt, or oil, then connect the connector securely.
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
