Wheels: Testing and Inspection
WHEEL RUNOUT1. Jack up the vehicle and support it with jack stands.
2. Measure wheel runout with a dial indicator as illustrated.
3. Replace the wheel if the wheel runout exceeds the limit.
Aluminum type wheel
Radial: 0.3 mm (0.012 inch)
Axial: 0.3 mm (0.012 inch)
TIGHTENING WHEEL NUT
1. Tightening torque
Specified torque: 88.3 - 117.7 Nm (9 - 12 kg-m, 65.1 - 86.8 ft. lbs.)
NOTE: When using an impact gun, ensure to use the correct tightening torque.
2. Tighten all wheel nuts in the such order as shown in the illustration.
